Odd question huh?  Way back in the 1990's when I was still blogging on Homestead, I was worth $17.1 million.  I have found out now that I'm worth a lot less. WHAT?!?!?! I guess we depreciate as much as cars. Well now my day is shot

Joys of Moving Blogs...

So I got this bright idea to move my blog to another account.  Some days I wonder what's wrong with me lol. Since I was just moving from one blogger account to another, that went pretty smooth.  Easy as pie.  Well, til I started adding more blog posts. Now when I publish new posts, the whole left column drops to the bottom of the page. I have deleted and readded posts more times than I care to count. Then I had the great realization:  social media, accounts, mailing lists, oh what have I done?!

Two days later, I think I have it.  But then, oh no, what if I can tweak this, hum...wonder what would happen and how it would look it I did this?  Still messed up left column?!?! When does the madness stop?!

So...I'm here now, unless I accidentally hit the wrong button.  I hope you enjoy the new look, and yes, I'm still tweaking it lol.

P.S I just realized, now I want to go through the old posts and update them lol.

Valentine's Mantle

I'm so happy I finally have my Valentine's mantle done. For me to have something done early is like a major miracle lol. I only did the mantle this year, and still have my winter theme buffet table still done. Some of the candles were from Michael's 70% off Christmas sale this year. Everything else has been picked up over the last century or two. I took advantage of the one sunny day we've had here to get these pictures taken *s*

Mixed Metal Mantle

Trying saying that title three times fast lol. I'm really pleased with how it turned out this year. I picked up the red candle holders at Michael's just a few days ago when they put all of there Christmas items for 70%. Perfect time to stock up!! I picked up items that I could use for other holiday's too, which was a real find. I've has some of these reindeer a few years, some came from Target, others from Michael's. I picked up the stocking holders after Christmas a few years back and the paw was from Kohl's right when they put there Christmas goodies out this year. The last picture is a cute tree I picked up this year at Michael's also. Somehow I always wait til the last minute to put up my decorations. It's not like I don't know Christmas is coming, it's not a surprise. My procrastination really annoys me some days. I hope you enjoy the pictures =)
