Happy Birthday to Me!!

I was a good girl. I heard that snicker, hush! Hubby finally determined that it was costing me a fortune to keep my Mustang in perfect health, so I had to say goodbye and part ways with my Bumble Bee. He did decide this after I spent $600 on it last week to make it stop when it was supposed to. Apparently running stop signs and lights gets ya in trouble. Who knew? I must say this is a heck of an upgrade!!! She's a 2014 Volkswagen Touareg TDI R Line. I need to come up with a name once I get to know her a little bit better. If anyone wants a review let me know, I can do one. I haven't really spent much time learning all the new things that it has. My Mustang wasn't for luxury or technology, more for looks and speed. I do know that I'm very comfortable driving and it's soooooo roomy. I'm very thankful that my hubby was able to do this for me, thank you love of my life ♥

Ok, just a "little" excited here lol. You know that photo linky party thingie from yesterday at Tracy's? I WON!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm so absolutely thrilled, honored, and really, really pleased (not that you could tell or anything). The guest judge was Sarah @ Faded Country. If you haven't visited her site, you really need to, just her header photography alone is a treat!! She had to say about the photos: "I love the simplicity and the way the photos create a soothing feel. It makes me want to go there and lie in the grass and take in the beauty that abounds. What a great place to live and I love the detail of the rope on the poles. Gorgeous place!" So a big thank you to both Tracy for hosting and Sarah for judging =)

It's Only Been Two Years...

Only two lol. I had this blog set up in 2009 for my 365 project and you can see how far that got. I took the pictures for like three months but never posted any of them. I at least had good intentions.

You're prolly wondering then why am I posting now and how did I get through the dust and cobwebs. I've always kept a blog on my website, but I haven't kept up with that lately either (gee, I'm sure you're shocked by that little tidbit). Since I have my design blog, I figure nobody wants to read my daily babble, they're there for the tags, not the ramblings of a delirious blonde. When things happen during the day, I do at times want to share it with everyone, so I've decided to start blogging again. This way I can go on and on about the things that are important to me: my family, photography, scrapping, recipes, you get the idea. So keep your eyes peeled for lots of good things!!

The fortune cookie from yesterday was correct!!! I was accepted as a new member on two different creative teams for stores!!! I know some of you that are reading this don't really know what that means, but it's a big thing to me, and I'm very excited! Digital scrapbooking is done all on the computer instead of going to a regular brick and mortar store (like JoAnn's for instance). Stores and designers (the people who make the kits) hire people to make things out of their work as a tool for advertisement. Say you see a layout or tag that you really like, then you are more inclined to buy the kit. That's what's so cool about being on a creative team (CT for short), you get the products for FREE!! That is your payment for doing something that you normally would do anyway, and gives you an opportunity to work with designers that you may not have a chance to otherwise. If you know me really well, you know I live in my PSP (Paint Shop Pro, a graphics/photo editing program similar to Adobe).
